Intermediate Training

Description

Intermediate class starts you working at a distance from your dog. We will use various types of distractions to develop your dog’s ability to be still and calm, while crazy things happen all around him. This class also prepares your dog to pass the American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen test. This is an on-leash class occasionally using a 10’ long line. Often students enroll in intermediate more than once before graduating to advanced class.  

Requirements

Dogs need to be beginning or puppy class graduates. Bring dog’s vaccination records to first class. Wear comfortable clothes and closed toed, non slip-on shoes. We will use a regular buckle collar and 6-foot leash for training. You will need a 10 foot (minimum) long line for class.
